Young Edmontonians Making a Difference
Since 1929 JCI Edmonton (also known as Edmonton Jaycees), has been active in the Edmonton community. As a membership-based nonprofit organization with over 130 active members, we are made up of young people aged 18 to 40 living and working in the Edmonton community. We are leaders. We are entrepreneurs. We are trendsetters. We are movers and shakers. We aim to make ourselves and the communities we live in better.
Each JCI member shares the belief that in order to create lasting positive change, we must improve ourselves and the world around us. We seek targeted solutions to the unique problems faced by Edmontonians. We aim to build a better city and to create a global impact.
JCI Edmonton is the 2nd largest chapter of over 25 JCI Canada chapters and is affiliated with Junior Chamber International (JCI), a worldwide federation of young leaders and entrepreneurs. JCI is comprised of over 200,000 members contributing to advancement of the global community by creating positive change in over 5,000 communities in more than 100 nations worldwide. Since 1929 JCI Edmonton has created positive change in the communities we call home.
