Once again JCI Edmonton will be joining together to help families in need enjoy a festive Christmas.

Last year was a tremendous success and we are looking to our fellow members, friends, families, and co-workers to help us reach our goal of delivering over a 200 hampers!

How it works:
• On November 30, 2010 we will assign you a family and will let you know the number of family members and their ages. e.g. Mom, 5 yr old boy, 9 yr old girl.
• You will then purchase groceries (based on the suggested food list provided to you) and small gifts for the family.
• JCI Edmonton will provide the turkey and roasting pan for your hamper.
Delivery:
• We will be delivering the hampers on Saturday, December 18th. We will meet at the school and delivery will take place between 11:00am – 1:00pm where you will be given the address of your family, the turkey and roasting pan.
• The school we have chosen this year to meet at is Mother Teresa Elementary School. The school is located at 9008 – 105A Avenue.
• If you are not able to deliver your hamper we will find volunteers to do so.

Remember:
• You do not have to be a member to participate. Please recruit your friends, family, and co-works to put together a hamper(s).
• Ask your company to donate a Christmas hamper(s) for a great cause!
• It works great to put all of the food in a laundry basket. Remember to label with you Hamper Family number.
• Please ensure all the presents are wrapped and labelled (e.g. 5 yr old boy).
• We will be delivering hampers to the families in the greatest need throughout the city centre from many different schools (although we meet centrally at Mother Teresa).

All families are cross referenced to the Christmas Bureau to ensure no duplication.
