Junior Achievement
The Edmonton Jaycees founded Junior Achievement (Edmonton) in 1964 and continually support this valuable organization. Our members volunteer for the JA Company Program, Adopt a School Program, and scholarship program for Achiever of the Year.

Nothing But Nets – A Global Campaign to Fight Malaria
Insecticide-treated bed nets are purchased at a cost of $10.00 US to be distributed - in partnership with the United Nations Foundation/Partners - to children under the age of five living in the Sub-Saharan Africa. Education is provided to children and their communities on the use of the bed nets. The target is to purchase of 1,000,000 insecticide-treated bed nets by 2015.

Youth Emergency Shelter
JCI Edmonton is a corporate sponsor at the "Homeless for a Night" fundraiser. "Homeless for a Night" exemplifies the involvement of JCI in the community and showcases the benefits of volunteering and contributing to worthy causes.

Sleeping Children Around the World (S.C.A.W.)
Sleeping Children Around the World is an international humanitarian organization that, through donations, provides bed kits to children in underdeveloped or developing countries. JCI Edmonton supports S.C.A.W. annually through local chapter donations.

Christmas Hamper Program
The Christmas Hamper Program is held annually at Mother Theresa Elementary School. JCI Edmonton members assemble gift baskets and deliver the gifts to families that are at risk or in need.
